PLANTING SEEDS OF NEW BEGINNINGS

During this beautiful season of Spring, we are reminded of the awesomeness of Nature. In Spring, nature awakens and continues its life cycle for another season. Buds appear on trees, sprouts push up through the earth and flowers bloom. We are also reminded that this is the perfect time of year to renew and refresh our thoughts and feelings about ourselves and our experiences and it is also the time of year for planting new seeds in order to grow new things.

Just like the seeds we plant in soil and nurture to grow into trees, plants and vegetables, we can also plant thought seeds in our minds and hearts. Thought seeds are ideas we have about things that we want to have, do or experience. Take a moment to think about new things you would like to have, do or experience this Spring and Summer. Plant your ideas in your mind and heart and, just like nurturing a real seed, take actions towards your ideas by thinking and feeling positively about them. Take time to weed out thoughts and feelings that may not be helping your seed grow.
