2021 Open Streets Applications Now Open
NYC’s Open Streets program prioritize pedestrians and cyclists by transforming streets into public space, allowing for a range of activities, support local businesses, and create opportunities for New Yorkers to gather together safely. The 2021 Open Streets Application is now live. In 2021, both new and returning partners must apply to manage an Open Street in their community. Click here for more information about the program and to submit an application. A webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, March 31 at 12:00pm to go over the application process and answer any questions. Register in advance here
NYC to Create Broadway Vaccination Site
Mayor de Blasio has announced that the City plans to create a COVID-19 vaccination site that will be reserved for theater industry workers to help Broadway theaters reopen for live performances in the fall. In addition to the Broadway vaccination site, there would be a mobile vaccination unit to serve theater workers beyond Broadway. 
SBS Training Programs Available for Businesses and Employees
The NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) has two training opportunities for NYC businesses and their employees. The Training for Your Employees program provides business owners and their employees training in digital literacy, marketing tools, online security, and COVID-19 safety. And, the Customized Training grant is a competitive, reimbursable training grant that offers financial support to make training employees more affordable. This program tends to be well-suited for medium and larger sized businesses, and applications are accepted year-round.

Summer Youth Employment Applications
