December 16-20, 2019
Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe Prayer Service Today
We invite you to join us this afternoon at 2:15 pm in the Church as we celebrate this feast day. Our 3rd grade students will lead this celebration.
Santa Claus Fund Donation Deadline is Monday
A gift to the Santa Claus Fund is a great way for families to show their appreciation to our teachers and staff members and acknowledge their wonderful commitment to our children. We encourage all families to support this fund in lieu of sending individual teacher gifts. All donations are combined and then divided and distributed as a cash gift to all faculty and staff before Christmas. Click  here  to make a donation (be sure to select 'Santa Claus Fund' in the drop down menu) or drop off a check in the school office no later than Monday.
Christmas Concert Tuesday
It is with great pleasure that students in grades 1-4 invite you to their Christmas program,  On This Christmas, on Tuesday, December 17. Performances will be given at 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Families, friends and parishioners are welcome to attend this special program and celebrate this joyous season.
Morning Adoration Wednesday
All families are invited to spend time with their children for an hour of Advent reflection on Wednesday, December 18th at 9:00 am at the Church . Take some time out of your busyness to join us for our closing Advent prayer service. We promise you great beauty and peace to begin your Advent day! For those of you who joined us last year you know the gift of quiet space that was given to you, through this of Adoration. Please join us in this quiet space for a morning of silence with delicate music for reflection.

New Middle School Math Teacher
We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Leticia Orozco to the St. Luke School teaching staff. Mrs. Orozco will be taking over as our new Middle School Math teacher. She comes to us with 22 years of experience teaching 5th-8th grade Math in the Chicago Public Schools. Mrs. Orozco attended Catholic grade school and Catholic high school and is excited to be teaching in a Catholic school. She will be spending a bit of time before the Christmas break working with Ms. Gleason and Mrs Sutton and will be back full time with us after the holidays. We are very grateful to Ms. Gleason and Mrs. Sutton for teaching our Middle Schoolers over the last couple of months. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Mrs. Orozco.
