RVCC is offering Virtual Admissions Information Sessions in December, including a special session focusing on its Cosmetology/Esthetics programs. Registration is suggested for all Admissions events.

The College’s Arts & Design department will present its second selection in a virtual concert series launched to help defray the cost of private instructional lessons for RVCC music majors. The virtual concert, “Cinderella,” will be live-streamed from RVCC’s Nash Theatre, December 13, at 2 p.m. The performance will feature award-winning pianist Artyom Pak.

RVCC and New York School of Interior Design (NYSID) have signed a new agreement that will allow students to seamlessly transfer to NYSID to complete their bachelor’s degree.

According to the agreement, students who receive an Associate of Science Degree in Interior Architecture and Design from RVCC may transfer into NYSID’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture program, as long as they fulfill certain degree requirements including submitting a portfolio for review.

For the sixth year in a row, RVCC has been nationally recognized for its campus sustainability initiatives by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education, earning a STARS Silver rating. The STARS program ranks RVCC as the #6 community college in the US and Canada for its sustainability efforts.

The RVCC Planetarium offers virtual field trips that can be tailored to any grade level. A live Planetarium presenter guides participants through our solar system, the night sky, or to the edge of the Universe. Presentations are $75 per class or group (for 30 participants) and run approximately 45-50 minutes.
