Meet
Samantha Bounkeua
and
Jeffrey Anthony, the creative geniuses behind
Harbor Lighthouse Studios!
Samantha and Jeffrey describe Harbor Lighthouse Studios as a full service music publishing company that works to establish a more equitable musicians' middle class.
Samantha, who also performs as RogueViolin, could be found at Artistic InQUEERies playing several hyponotic sets in the Haunted Hands gallery! Samantha was classically trained at the internationally competitive Oberlin Conservatory. Samantha was recently awarded a 2019 grant from the Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona to complete an album about queer subculture, and has been commissioned to write music for the Binational Encuentro (an event about the female migratory experience), ChamberLab, LuftBassoon, Hawkins Dance Company and more. In 2015, Samantha began her position as the personal assistant and project manager to Tim Collins, one of the world's most recognized rock band managers and former manager to Aerosmith and Steven Tyler.
A Studio and Jazz graduate from University of Miami, Jeffrey Anthony, is an internationally sought performer, recording on over a hundred records and on hit songs with artists such as Sheryl Crow, with over a billion listeners. An early employee at SavageBeast Technologies, Jeffrey worked on the nascent Music Genome Project, which evolved into what is now known as Pandora Radio. Having analyzed over 100,000 songs for the Music Genome Project, Jeffrey has unprecedented insight into the very DNA of song structure and song production.

Lino is a transmasculine Brazilian researcher and graphic novel artist. Alongside a network of autonomous publishers, he collaborates in "Fracassando: edições precárias" (Failing: precarious editions), which is a DIY project for archiving, producing, translating and distributing Latin-America comic zines with a focus on LGBTTQA self-representation. Lino's drawings, watercolors and etchings depict hybrid bodies that blend together disabled, trans* and animal becomings. His autobiographic graphic novel "Monstrans: Experiencing Horrormones" is upcoming through Itaú Cultural publisher.

iLGBTS wishes to thank Rebecca Nicole Summers!
We are in deep appreciation of Rebecca Nicole Summers, undergraduate student, who serves as the Eco Representative for Historic Lane (a student organization that
includes three of the university's oldest dorms: Gila, Maricopa, and Yuma). Rebecca recently organized a clothes drive at each dorm to benefit the Queer Closet!! Rebecca also took the time to give her testimonial:
"A little bit about me is my major is Family Studies and Human Development with a minor in Adolescents, Community, and Education. One of my main goals in life is to spread awareness of positivity and inclusion, and Closet Deposit was a small way I could do that here at the U of A!"
