ON-SITE, INSTRUCTOR-LED EXERCISES
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS:
Carol Mills  was in the original Zumba class when it was brought to Wooster in 2007. When her current instructor decided to retire, Carol was ready to step in and instruct. She became a certified ZIN Zumba instructor and has taught for the last 6 years.

Heather Dennis  has years of experience in instruction, coaching and personal training. Her passion is teaching others how to incorporate exercise into their daily lifestyle. She is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and has her Strength and Conditioning Certificate (CSCS).

Jessica McMillan  has taught a variety of fitness classes over the past decade, including aerobics, Pilates, and bootcamp-style strength training.  She is a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) and is Barre Fitness certified.  Jessica is a speech-language pathologist with Wooster City Schools and a local yoga instructor.  Jessica's classes aim to challenge body and mind while moving in new ways.

Joie Schmitz is a local yoga, mindfulness and wellness instructor, known for classes that challenge both body and mind. She has an RYT-500 advanced teaching certification through the Jivan Yoga Teacher Training Program at Baltimore Yoga Village. Joie loves to travel the world, practicing and teaching yoga, and finding new ways to share the power of yoga with others.

Sherri Prindle  is an instructor who truly understands the challenges mentally/physically first hand of choosing to make lifestyle changes by incorporating exercise and healthy food choices into one's life. Weighing in at 210 lbs. food had taken control over her life, with healthier food choices and exercise she lost 85 lbs. 23 years ago. Sherri has been teaching cardio kickboxing and step aerobics classes for approximately 20 years; she tries hard to motivate students while making the classes fun as well as challenging for all levels of fitness, beginners, intermediate, and the super fit.

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
BootCamp - Full-body workout posted online - Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays (Email Heather to join the group or follow the link). The workout is designed with a mixture of cardio, DB's, and Bodyweight that you can complete at the Gault or modify for home. Workout is sent around 11:00 a.m.

Strength-N-Stretch Class will incorporate heart-healthy, mobility-enhancing movement with body awareness.  We will add resistance through dumbbells, repetition, and bodyweight exercises to build strength and confidence.  30 minutes of class will be focused on movement and strength training, with the final 15 minutes focused on core strength, stretching, and relaxation through easy-to-follow yoga sequences.  Please bring a mat if you have one!  Weights will be available, but you could easily do this class without them.

Zumba -  Is a total body workout, mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party. Many call Zumba "exercise in disguise" because it is so much fun, it doesn't feel like you're working out! Let those Latin and World Rhythms take you over and burn load of calories. You will have a boost of energy and feel awesome each time you that you attend. No dance experience needed, just a desire to have fun and feel the beat!

Yoga - Bring your life into balance with Yoga! Explore how to move your body more mindfully to support your fitness goals, and breathe deeply to dissipate stress. Yoga is the perfect complement to any exercise or wellness program! Classes will cater to all levels. BRING YOUR MAT!

Woo-Kix -A group fitness class that is considered a low or high impact, high-intensity workout that can burn 500-600 calories in just one hour. Punching and kicking to a variety of high energy music is a fun way to work out while burning fat and calories for all levels of fitness. Cardio Kickboxing is a total-body workout, you can save time by combining your workouts in just one routine... Cardiovascular and respiratory fitness, flexibility, strength building, endurance, core and body composition are all covered with just one workout.
