Serving Both Near & Far
Updates from the Mission Field
March is underway, and our ministry team is excited - a CPI healthcare team will be returning to the mission field this month! Under the direction of our Guatemalan National Directors, Helmuth & Olga Marroquin, CPI will be serving at a new church partner along the shore of Lake Atitlan in western Guatemala. The CPI team will include many Guatemalan healthcare providers, as well as the church congregation, who will register patients, escort them through the clinic, and share Jesus Christ one-on-one in our "Clinic of the Soul". Please pray for our healthcare team as we serve the Lord in Guatemala from March 10 - 17.

We also have a wonderful report to share from our national church partner in Thailand. Pastor Jay Orata tells us his church hosted an eyeglass clinic in the mountain village of Doi Chang on the last Sunday in February. Pastor was so excited because 50 people from his congregation made the trip to Doi Chang to serve! Many patients were cared for, and 77 made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ. We praise God for our partnership in northern Thailand, as the eyeglass ministry is providing opportunity after opportunity for Pastor Jay's church to share the Gospel to unreached people groups in the northern mountains of Thailand.

And you might wonder - How does CPI prepare all the glasses that are used on the mission field? Through the efforts of faithful volunteers! Each week, several volunteers serve here at CPI or in their homes prepping our donated glasses for use overseas. By God's grace, CPI was blessed with a financial gift to purchase an additional lensmeter, the optical machine which is used to determine the prescription of a pair of eyeglasses. Please pray with us - our dream is to purchase additional ophthalmic diagnostic equipment and another lensmeter to duplicate what the Lord has done in Thailand in Guatemala, and beyond!

Announcing our Virtual Gala
Cover the Earth with God's Glory in 2021
CPI Virtual Gala
Have you ever attended a CPI Annual Fundraising Banquet? Our annual April Banquets have always been a wonderful time of fellowship, as hundreds gather together to celebrate all that God is doing through our healthcare ministry.

Because of the lingering effects of the pandemic, CPI has decided not to have a “typical” Banquet this year. Instead, we are producing a 30-minute “Virtual Gala” program that will be broadcast via the internet. We are so excited as this video program comes together – we will have segments that share our eyeglass ministry in Thailand, our expanded food distribution here in the U.S., and also clips of our March healthcare clinic in Guatemala. You won’t want to miss watching what God has been doing through our ministry!

Included in the Virtual Gala program will be a link to donate to the ministry of Caring Partners International. Without the generous support of our faithful donors, churches, and corporate sponsors, CPI will not be able to continue all of its mission programs. Thank you so much for your continued love and support for our ministry!

In the weeks to come, monitor your email inbox and the CPI website, as more information about the Virtual Gala will be released, including the links to view the premiere of the program on April 29th. We’re looking forward to many viewing this program across the entire USA and abroad. Our prayer is that many more supporters can join in celebrating what God is doing through CPI. Please plan to join us virtually from the comfort of your home, office, or church as we Cover the Earth with God’s Glory!

CPI is Hiring!

Praise God, CPI is growing! A critical component of this growth is our volunteers. We often receive inquiries from churches, schools, corporations, and clubs here in southwest Ohio about serving at CPI’s office & warehouse facility in Franklin, Ohio, but we need the personnel to help our ministry plan, prepare, and lead these volunteer groups.

Are you an extrovert with a dynamic, outgoing personality? Are you passionate about ministry and desire to inspire others to serve? If so, we may have a ministry position for you! Here are some additional qualities CPI is looking for in our new Volunteer Coordinator:

Servant Leader, Team Player, Good Listener, Excellent Teacher and Organizer

This position will be part-time, with flexible hours, with some weekend and evening hours required. Our Volunteer Coordinator will need to be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods of time. For the right candidate, this position has the potential for advancement and could lead to a full-time ministry position with CPI. Having healthcare training, volunteer leadership, or warehouse experience would be considered a plus.

Interested? Click on the button below to complete a Personal Inquiry regarding the position. CPI will accept these Inquiries through Tuesday, March 23rd. After that date, a member of our ministry team will reach out to each person who submitted an Inquiry.
