GrantGrant Opportunities  Beginning
in Fiscal Year 2019!
Due to the past success of the MIOSHA Safety and Health Improvement Program (MiSHIP) that was offered as part of MIOSHA's 40 th Anniversary in 2015, MIOSHA has decided to provide a similar opportunity beginning in FY 2019 on an ongoing basis.  The  MIOSHA Workplace Improvement to Safety and Health (MIWISH) matching grant will be offered to small employers (250 or less) to purchase safety and health-related equipment and corresponding equipment-related training that will provide a safer and healthier work environment.  Preference will be given to employers in high hazard industries identified in MIOSHA's 2019-2023 Strategic Plan.  Consideration will also be given to projects in areas not targeted in the Strategic Plan.  All projects will be evaluated based on the specific hazards addressed.
