Orange Shirt Day: September 14th
UBCM is pleased to once again recognize Orange Shirt Day at this year's UBCM Convention.  Delegates are encouraged to wear orange on Friday, September 14th for  Orange Shirt Day  - an annual day of recognition of the harm the residential school system did to children's sense of self-esteem and wellbeing. Wearing an orange shirt is a way to honour the survivors and remember those that did not survive. Orange T-shirts are available for purchase by donation during Convention at the Registration Services Desk. All donations collected will be given to the Phyllis (Jack) Webstad's Orange Shirt Society.

Convention Code of Conduct
All UBCM Convention attendees are asked to read, understand and agree to comply with the Code of Conduct by signing off on the  Agreement and Acknowledgement Form  and returning it to UBCM at  [email protected] .

At the 2016 Convention, delegates endorsed resolution B103 asking UBCM to implement a convention code of conduct. Extensive work has been undertaken and we are pleased to advise that UBCM has a formal  Convention Code of Conduct  in place for the 2018 Convention.

Registration Closed
Registration is now closed and refunds can no longer be issued. Changes can only be made on-site starting Monday, September 10 at 7:00 am at the Whistler Conference Centre.
