Introduce Yourself - Carrie Sussman & Jerry Lank
What's Your Story?
Hello, my name is Carrie Sussman. My partner, Jerry Lank, and I decided to introduce ourselves together. Jerry and I, both widows, met at a dinner event held by an ancillary group of the Plato Society in 2016. Both of us had long marriages, Jerry 63 years to Dorothy and me 49 years to Bob. Being together with a partner again, felt right. Love is good!

Our Village On the Go
New and seasoned members came together to complete our General Orientation.
Led by Rabbi Bob Gan, the Village Men’s Group studied Jacob, a deeply flawed patriarch.
Daniel Tamm shared about his faith & career and LA's sanitation and environmental projects.
Devorah encouraged the 80's+ Group to "let go," set intentions, and move forward.

Following services there will be a light kiddush lunch catered by Flavors from Afar, a catering company featuring chefs who are themselves refugees and asylum seekers featuring their native cuisines. Temple Emanuel is proud to have had a role in the early formation and support of Flavors from Afar.
