The Council’s highest volunteer recognition, the Silver Beaver Award, will be awarded to five highly deserving Scouters. These Scouters have made a huge impact on the lives of youth through their hard work, self-sacrifice, and years of dedicated service. Introduced in 1931, the Silver Beaver Award is a BSA council-level distinguished service award.

The Virginia Living Museum (VLM) day camp set for April 3rd. The customized programs they offer are Reptiles and Amphibians Merit Badge and the Mammals Merit Badge. The price for either program is $30 per scout completing the merit badge. The $30 include all day admission to the entire facility and the merit badge event. Either program is also open to other adults and non-scouts children for $19 and $14 respectively. [Register]
