Recycling at All Souls
Here are some helpful tips on what items are able to be recycled in our parking lot recycling bins.
  1. Empty ink cartridgescell phones, and other small electronic devices are recyclable. Place them in the boxes under the coat rack. A recycling company pays us for these items.
  2. Refilled cartridges are available from the same company at a reduced price. All Souls receives 15% of the price of these cartridges. To purchase, go to:<planetgreenrecycle.com/allsoulsunitarian>.
  3. Recycling bins are located at the back of the parking lot.
  4. All paper products except cardboard should be placed in the green and yellow bin. That company pays All Souls for these. Remember to shred any confidential documents.
  5. Aseptic food cartons, also called “Tetra-Paks” and Gable Top cartons,
  6. for juice, broth, soup, milk, non-dairy milk and wine also go in the green and yellow bin.
  7. Metal and glass containers, cardboard, and plastics #1-5,7 should be put in the blue Republic bin. All Souls pays for this service so please place all paper in the green and yellow bin.
  8. Plastic #6–clean expanded polystyrene (“Styrofoam”) products go in the small green containers.  “Styrofoam” packing peanuts also may be dropped off at any Goodwill facility.
Recycling supports our seventh principle: Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
CONNECTING OUR COMMUNITY
All Souls is in the midst of our annual operational pledge drive, CONNECTING OUR COMMUNITY. This drive is the major source of funding for the All Souls community for our fiscal year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. These funds make our inspiring and thought-provoking worship, top-notch choir, children’s and family programs, member services, and spiritual growth possible. Without your financial support, we cannot maintain and grow our vibrant programs and services.

You should have received pledge packets in your mail and possibly follow up phone calls. You can return your completed pledge cards in the enclosed envelope in your pledge packet or email Nancy Baney (financial@allsoulsindy.org) your pledge. Please respond whether your can pledge or not to avoid extra phone calls. Please respond by April 1, 2021.

If you have any questions, please call Rick or Mary May, Pledge Drive Co Chairs at 815-997-7277
Designing our Community Garden

Sarah Cannon and Nasreen Khan will send out a poll in two weeks to find a convenient time to meet and plan the garden. If you already expressed interest last Summer, please sign up again.
