Tropical Storm Nestor rolled through and messed up our weekend camping trip.  Out of a concern for high winds (and falling limbs) the event was cut short and we all went home Saturday afternoon.  Since our planned awesome dinner on Saturday was cancelled we have rescheduled the low country boil for tomorrow before our normal meeting.  I am not going to let a storm get between me and boiled shrimp!
This Weekend Is Loaded With Auctions
For the first time in probably 20 years I've been asked to be the speaker at a Scout dinner. This is a small group in Columbia but it's got me thinking about how I can bring in Scouting memorabilia to help illustrate the story.  I think when you look at insignia, merit badges and Eagle medals that really tells a story that any Scouter would connect to. 

Order of the Arrow Auctions Up For Bids
Sometimes as a collector you need a little incentive to get your stuff organized.  I've got probably 50 Eagle medals from various collection purchases.  Almost none of them are labeled or organized into a display.  I've got about a month to get this together along with a neat idea I have for a merit badge display. If anybody has pictures send them to me.

I'm getting this issue out a little late in the day.  As I'm finishing this issue Patrick is going through his first day of God and Family.  He earned the earliest version when he was a Wolf so if we keep it going he can have the chance to get all four versions.
