continued support
of the VIM mission over the past
ten years
is simply amazing! In 2008, the
clinic opened
with an Executive Director, one nurse and one volunteer doctor. Today, we have a core group of over 150 volunteers that have assisted in
increasing medical, dental and behavioral health services
to low income families in Luzerne County. Thanks to the philanthropic
"Valley with a Heart"
, VIM will continue to be the safety-net provider to our neighbors that are working but still have no access to affordable health insurance.
