Stay up to date!
From Sunday:

In 700 BC, the people of Israel were facing hostile enemies attacking their crops, water, and people. The people of Israel cried out to God for help.
God knew how they were feeling, so He issued them a promise through one of His most respected spokesmen: the prophet Isaiah.
God promised to send them a savior.
The Prince of Peace sermon series continues today as we look at Isaiah's second name for our savior Jesus: Mighty God.

Christmas Family:
None of us knows what tomorrow will bring. What position will you find yourself?
"Stuff" happens, and we do not always have control of that. As in many years' past, Slash Christian Church is sponsoring a family in need for Christmas. We will be helping a family of 2 young children - 6 and 3, with a third on the way.  With your help, maybe we can make a difference for this young family. A list of items has been made available to you. The young ages of these children will make purchasing items of toys and clothes so much fun this year. Let's help to clothe these young children. Let's help to buy a few toys. You may wish to combine efforts with more than one person to split the purchase of an item.  Please bring gifts to church by December 15th Let's bring a few smiles and share your gifts with others. Let us be part of sharing the love that God has asked us to share. Let's once again make Christmas a little merrier!
