THANKS AGAIN TO OUR 3RD ANNUAL MIAMI BRIDGE LUNCHEON SPONSORS AND ATTENDEES!
"This year’s luncheon was outstanding for our organization and we are very grateful to all of our friends and supporters who attended,"
- Dr. Dorcas Wilcox, CEO of Miami Bridge Youth & Family Services.

With close to 250 philanthropists in attendance, the 3rd Annual Miami Bridge Luncheon celebrated our organization's more than 34 years of life-changing family advocacy services with a lively reception jam-packed with performances and moving testimonials.

Sponsors such as  AT&T , The Circle's Foundation Stabilify , TD Bank , and  Coastal Construction Company  were among the many that helped make our luncheon possible thanks to their generous contributions. Thank you again to our community of philanthropists; local dignitaries such as Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava; as well as local celebrities Malik Williams, artist and VH1 TV personality, singer and songwriter,  Brent Love , and luncheon emcee, WPLG Local 10's Layron Livingston for supporting our mission and joining us for this year's event!
AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM STAFF SGT. OLIVIA OF THE FLORIDA COUNTERDRUG TASK FORCE
Informative and necessary! Thank you Staff Sgt. Olivia and the Florida Counterdrug Task Force for taking the time to visit our Miami central campus and educate our youth about substance abuse. EVERYONE HAS A CHOICE. LET’S CHOOSE TO STAND AGAINST DRUG ABUSE!
HOME COOKING AT OUR MIAMI CENTRAL CAMPUS
Thanks to Miami Bridge Champion, Judith Richard Johnson, our youth got to enjoy a warm, home-cooked meal at our Miami Central Campus. The team cooked up some jerk pork at our shelter kitchen as a special dinner this month. For our youth, these meals allow them to feel welcomed and appreciated, so for one moment they do not have to worry about the troubles in their personal lives.
SOLUTIONS TO END YOUTH HOMELESSNESS
Snapshot at Point Source Youth’s Symposium on Solutions to End Youth Homelessness in Atlanta, GA hosted by Emory University. Our team had the pleasure to attend the symposium and learn more about the part we play to help end youth homelessness. Take a look (from left) Pauline Green, CEO of The Alliance, Dr. Dorcas Wilcox, CEO of Miami Bridge and Michael Rebimbas, Ed.S.- Director of Behavioral Services at Miami Bridge.
GOOD HOPE EQUESTRIAN CENTER
Horses are non-judgmental; they love unconditionally and provide a strong shoulder to lean on. They connect with people through positive interactions, not through prejudice and estimation. Our youth got to take part in this very special equine activity thanks to Good Hope Equestrian Training Center and Path International. Certified instructors guided participants through a group session where they were provided with a healthy outlet to share the common love of horses with others, while simultaneously making positive changes in emotional and social domains.

MIAMI BRIDGE SPOTLIGHT
THANK YOU, CWA LOCAL 3178!

The Communications Workers of America represent 700,000 workers in private and public sector employment. This week, the CWA 3178 Miami Beach Chapter toured our Miami Central Campus and spoke with our youth about what they do for a living. CWA members work in education, health care, public service, law enforcement, manufacturing and other fields. The kids enjoyed learning more about our guests.

We are grateful for their gracious donation and appreciative of their willingness to spend the afternoon with our team and learn about the Miami Bridge mission.
