Project Update

Dear Redwood City Community Members,

Thank you to those of you who attended our last Traffic Calming Workshop. Your feedback is appreciated and very important to us. Below are some resources from the meeting:
The next Traffic Calming Workshop will be held on:
  • Thursday, September 27, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Veterans Memorial Building/Senior Center
Goals for this workshop:
  • Final designs presented for all intersections and gathering any final comment.
  • If time and resources permit, we may mock-up an intersection or two to test the "concept design" in place.
We hope you can join us at this meeting. Please share this date with your friends and neighbors.

Next Steps

On September 10, staff will be providing an update on the traffic calming workshops and neighborhood recommendations to City Council. The public is welcome to attend this meeting. The meeting will take place in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 7 p.m. If you cannot attend the meeting, it will be live streamed online. The live stream, minutes, and a recording will be available here.

In late 2018, staff will provide a design development update with cost analysis to City Council and consider a decision to move to construction drawings. Stay tuned for another update with more information on this.
