Last Friday, the CAQ application for Amputation Prevention and Wound Care was posted on our website and is now available to all ABPM Diplomates. ABPM Spotlight!
New ABPM Executive Director, James Stavosky, DPM
Each eNewsletter, we will be spotlighting a member of the ABPM Board of Directors so you become familiar with the ABPM team.
The American Board of Podiatric Medicine has selected James W. Stavosky, DPM as its next Executive Director and will assume the position beginning January 1, 2019. He is a past president of the ABPM and a past Examinations Chair.
Dr. Stavosky will succeed Dr. Marc Benard, who has served as the organization's Executive Director since 1996. Dr. Benard will assume the position of Assistant Dir
ector.
Note: For those submitting cases (see C below), deadline is Tuesday, November 20, 2018.
ABPM diplomates must be able to demonstrate at least one of the following:
provide certificate confirming completion of a CPME-approved fellowship in amputation prevention and wound care or similar designation
submit documentation in the form of a letter regarding expertise in a wound care or hospital setting (minimum of 1,000 documented hours verified by the program's Hospital CMO, Fellowship Director, or Department Chairperson/Chief of Service)
pass a case documentation process proving expertise in amputation prevention and wound care
