Advent: The Call to Prepare the Way

What goes into the preparation of a Thanksgiving feast? How long, on the average, does it take to prepare for a marathon? How does one prepare for a coveted job interview?

Advent is a special season that focuses on...you guessed it...preparation. How did the nation of Israel prepare for the promised Messiah? How do we prepare for the return of Christ? How do we prepare for the many ways that Jesus comes to us in our day-to-day? December 1, join us as we begin our Advent series - 
The Call to Prepare the Way.

Women of BayMarin...

Let's make some wreaths! When? Right after church on Sunday December 1. Make an Advent wreath with candles or a wreath for your front door. Materials will be provided, though if you wish, do bring anything from home for that special touch. Why not invite a friend to church and then stay to make a wreath? BYOL (bring your own lunch). Also, if you have them, please bring wire cutters or garden shears and be sure to write your name on them. Suggested donation for materials $5. Please RSVP to Laurie at [email protected], so we know how many to provide for.

Ministry Partner Bazaar

Our annual Christmas Bazaar will be held December 15 following the service to support our ministry partners. It will be a great opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts for your friends and loved ones.
Holiday Boutique - Show & Sale

Original fine art, high quality reproductions, and unique hand-made gift items - all for sale right here at Cedar House! We'll be hosting several local artists in a show featuring small works.  Enjoy a hot beverage as you browse through a variety of artwork including paintings, art prints, cards, jewelry, textiles, and other super creative stuff!
This is an opportunity to support local artists -AND- a portion of the proceeds will go to support the non-profit work of Creative Interfaces.

Faith Communities

Our Faith Communities are our small groups - where church really happens as people live life together on a regular basis. If you are interested in learning more or trying out a Faith Community, please contact Bryan.
