Here are the highlights of our recent activity online. Not all everything is included due to timeliness. If an advertised event already took place, we've left it off.
Work of Art in Coeur d'Alene
Our Arts Coordinator, Heather Kirk-Skinner posted about our Work of Art event that just wrapped up in Coeur d'Alene this week:
We had such an extraordinary IPUL Work of Art event at the Human Rights Education Institute in CDA.

Dr. Karolyn Rogers was our client sponsor and taught the students to play these Native American style flutes, and informed the symbols painted on the mural, skull and drum. (Rogers is an honorary member of a local tribe).

Thank you to my IPUL Arts teachers, Teri Hanson, Valerie Andrus and Denise Hanrahan. The outcomes of this program extend far beyond the employment skill building and arts education it supports.

Our rockstar board member Cait Christiansen came out to share in the evening-Thank you Cait! And the students made me a flute of my own. My heart is full. Thanks to Vocational Rehabilitation for underwriting this important program.

Our program coordinator will then share this via IPUL's social media networks. We are also happy to add events to our calendar for people to find.

We had a fabulous reception at Lineberry Orthodontics for our Work of Art program with Idaho Parents Unlimited! Such a fun group of students and they made these darling pop art paintings. Thank you Amy Nack and Cassandra Schiffler for being outstanding teaching artists. Dr. Laura Lineberry - you're the best! 💝

December Flyer showing text over a sticker chart
Parents often need strategies beyond a sticker chart to encourage good behavior. This training will help you learn to manage your child's behaviors in ways that are consistent with the approach of Idaho's schools - focusing on prevention, not punishment.
