Focus groups will be held in Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX/Fort Worth, TX; District of Columbia; Houston, TX; Los Angeles, CA; New York City, NY; Orlando, FL; Philadelphia, PA; Phoenix, AZ; San Francisco, CA; and St Louis, MO. ANAC members who work in HIV, STD, HCV and related fields are invited. Respond here if you are interested.

Save Title X
ANAC has joined with numerous coalitions in submitting comments to HHS regarding the proposed rule change for Title X, known as the domestic gag rule. This proposal limits services, including reproductive health education and referrals and seriously undermines the provider-patient relationship for poor women and women at risk for HIV who receive services at Title X programs, notably Planned Parenthood. Individual providers are invited to join with the American Academy of Nursing, American College of Gynecologists and other providers to sign a pledge to stand with patients and oppose restrictions that block providers from giving patients all of their health care options.
