Coffee & Crisis Management: Special HBA CLE Program This Wednesday
The HBA presents a free, members-only event entitled, "Coffee & Crisis Management for Attorneys & Their Clients," with speaker Bruce Hennes of Hennes Communications,  Wednesday, September 19, 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. at  Heritage Plaza Ground Floor Conference Room. This event is sponsored by Hartline Dacus Barger Dreyer LLP and is accredited for 1 hour MCLE, including 1 hour ethics. Volunteer at Special Olympics Softball Tournament, Sept. 22
Special Olympics Texas - Area 4 is in need of volunteer referees, assistants and buddies for athletes, and is asking the HBA for help! Anyone can volunteer at the SOTX Softball Tournament, Saturday, September 22, noon - 4:00 p.m. at  Wayne Gray Sports Complex.  Click here to sign up.
Thank a Disabled Veteran by Sponsoring
Golf Tournament This Thursday
There are 43 disabled veterans who would like to play in the Veterans Golf Tournament on September 20, but more sponsors are needed to accommodate all those who have told the VA they would like to play. If you would like to say "thank you" to a disabled veteran and join them for a relaxing day of golf at Cypresswood Golf Club, please consider  a $200 sponsorship to cover the cost of green fees and meals for yourself and a veteran partner.  Click here to register your sponsorship. Judicial Preference Poll Open for Voting
The HBA's 2018 Judicial Preference Poll is open for voting. Voting is online only, and all current HBA members with a valid email address should have received an email providing access to participate in the poll. The email will be from noreply @ballotboxonline.com and the subject line will be 2018 HBA Judicial Preference Poll Ballot. Voting closes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018.
