What a great day for this inaugural FUNdraising event! We are happy to announce that $4,500 was raised to seed the new Grace Gray Good Deeds Foundation on Sunday April 22 2018, which will provide assistance to families in crisis. We thank our live band, Rock Flight, the Agape' MCC Board of Directors, all our volunteers and those who donated items for sale, raffle and auction. And thanks to Fat Daddy's Sports and Spirits in Mansfield for hosting our event at their location! Check out photos by

Loving God
We live in times where in places like Afrin, Eastern-Ghouta, Yemen and so many other places people are forced to flee because of their religion, their ethnicity or the socio-political group they belong to - forced to flee war and oppression.
In times where in places like Chechnya, Egypt, Iraq and so many other places people have to flee their home countries because of who they love or how they express their gender.
Yet Loving God your stories, your commandments and your churches and other communities of faith give both refugees and the people working to support them strength in these difficult times.
Indeed your commandment that "You know the heart of a stranger for you were strangers in Mitzrayim (The Land of Egypt)" is the most common commandment in your Torah.
We pray for the people who have had to flee - because of their religion, because of who they love or for many other reasons. Be with them.
We ask for strength for those people of faith and no faith who work in churches and many other organizations to help refugees. Be with them.
We ask for inspiration for people in MCC churches around the world who work with refugees. Be with them.
Amen.

Breakfast Communion Sunday!
We have a tradition of celebrating Worship on fifth Sundays of the month as Communion Meal Sunday. This fifth Sunday, April 29, we will meet in the social hall for this special table worship experience. We will eat, pray, sing, and share teaching in the example of our spiritual ancestors. Thank you Board of Directors for providing the breakfast foods. Please join us for this fellowship celebration.
