June Passenger Volume Up at Baton Rouge Metro Airport
Passenger enplanements, or departing passengers, were up 2.1% at Baton Rouge Metro Airport (BTR) in June year-over-year; deplanements, or arriving passengers, were up 1.9%. Total passenger volume for June was 68,473. BTR passenger volume is up 4.2% year-to-date through June, 2018, mirroring 2017’s 4% passenger growth.

Interim Director of Aviation, Mike Edwards, said, “We would like to thank our customers for helping to perpetuate the passenger growth we experienced last year. With the new BTR nonstop flights on VIA Airlines to Austin and Orlando Sanford in September, we hope to experience the same passenger support to ensure their success.”
