Wake up and smell the flowers

The Easter Bunny Visited Francis Court!

Francis Court I, our transitional housing program for homeless families, currently provides shelter for 27 homeless children. These amazing little humans range in ages from 0 to 16 years old! The Saturday before Easter, the Active 20/30 Club of Redding arranged for a special visit from the Easter Bunny! Volunteers from the club hopped over and provided the Francis Court kids with Easter baskets full of books, toys, candy and tooth brushes! FaithWorks thanks the Active 20/30 Club for their ongoing involvement with our programs! It takes a village!

Speaking of Village............

We also had many others come through to help make sure that all our program participants had an amazing Easter!

Staff and Volunteers prepared a fun Easter Craft Workshop for the kids!

Adorable Easter crafts were created by the Francis Court kids while they enjoyed a pizza lunch.

Donations poured In!

The Palo Cedro Park Board, Susan Bradfield, Charlie Little, SNAP, Another Chance Folks, and Merrilee Walker put together a plethora of items to be handed out locally to children in need. We were blessed to be a part of this amazing project!

NVCSS came through as well!

Northern Valley Catholic Social Services in conjunction with Five Star Bank and Mechanics Bank put together a 2021 Easter Basket Project. The kindness was spread to FaithWorks and the children of our Options Program received these amazing baskets!

Pathway Church and The Elks Club kept the Veterans Fed!

For Easter and beyond the folks of Pathway Church have been delivering cooked meals to our Veterans on Sundays. Additionally Sherri Davis and The Elks Club have been delivering groceries to help keep the homeless Veterans at the House of Cornelius fed.

Our Francis Court III project has been in the making for nearly 10 years!!

This beautiful complex will house 4 homeless families and give them the opportunity to rebuild their lives. 1.7 million dollars has been utilized for funding and now that we are almost complete, we have fallen a little short! The current market has skyrocketed construction costs and we may not have enough funding to complete the landscaping. While final costs are still being determined, we estimate that we are roughly $20,000 short of completing this amazing project!

We know that Faith works and that God will provide!

We are currently reaching out to the community for help.
