SEPTEMBER 2018 | ISSUE 1
Thanks to Brian Cooper, President and owner of  Unified Title Company  and their supporters for once again this year hosting their 5th Annual Golf Tournament at the beautiful  Perry Park Country Club  in Larkspur CO on 9/10. We greatly appreciate their contribution to our organization and support they've given us over the years. Proceeds will benefit Zach’s Place respite/childcare program supporting kids with disabilities and their families!
Program Highlights
ZACH'S PLACE - All BUGGED Out!
The kids at Zach's Place were outside one day and noticed there were a lot of grasshoppers and they were trying to catch them. Playing on their interest, SKSF staff members built a Bug House. The children put in leaves, twigs and some wood chips. They then found various bugs to add to the environment. The staff talked to them about different environments and what a habitat was. They really enjoyed looking at the different bugs & peaked some curiosity. It was a great project!
YOGA WITH KAT & FRIENDS
At Joey's Place, during one of our weekly "Yoga with Kat and Friends", we had 4 lovely ladies join us and bring along their African drums. Our clients and Mentors enjoyed listening to the different rhythms, singing and dancing along. Some of our clients even had a chance to try their hand at playing the drums as well. Thankyou Kat Tudor and Friends for donating your time every week to come to Joey's Place!

WHO DUN IT??
The theme of the week at Joey's Place! We spent the week learning about fingerprints, Sherlock Homes, shoe print matching and magnifying glasses. We made our own detective kit, police hats and badges. Our Who Dun it? week came to a close with all our Mentors getting into character and presenting a murder mystery our clients had to help solve. We interviewed suspects, went on a scavenger hunt for the murder weapon, did our final interrogations and made an arrest!

A big thanks goes out to Mentor Kristen Martin for putting together our week and our Mentors who helped make the day so enjoyable!
