James Giordano, PhD, MPhil, professor in the departments of neurology and biochemistry and chair of the neuroethics studies program in the Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics, has been selected by the IEEE Brain Initiative to chair the group tasked with developing an ethics considerations document for scientists and engineers working on neurotechnologies.
Barbara S. Bregman, PT, PhD, an emeritus faculty and cofounder of the department of neuroscience, has been appointed associate dean for health professions and education development. In this role, she will be responsible for implementing new health professions programs and for collaborating with the School of Nursing & Health Studies, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and the School of Medicine.
