#1 BASH Mixers (Business Associate Social Hour)
SAHBA is "mixing it up" this year with our BASH Mixers - (Business Associate Social Hour).

SAHBA will be partnering with several membership organizations throughout the year to create opportunities to network, generate business leads and make new friends!

The first mixer is scheduled for March 4th at Brother John's from 5pm-7pm. We'll be partnering with ASID and NKBA.

Mark your calendars for all mixers dates:

The mixers are FREE to attend. Appetizers included with cash bar.
#2 Legislative Update
The 2020 Legislative Session is underway. The dominant theme thus far has been how soon the budget will get done so lawmakers can get back to their districts and on the campaign trail.

This election season has taken on new meaning with Democrats having the first realistic shot in taking one or both chambers in a very long time.

SAHBA, and our Capitol lobbyist Copper State Consulting, is evaluating dozens of bills to determine the impact on the home building industry and determining which, if any, we will support or oppose. We anticipate bills on water transfers, Community Facilities Districts, affordable housing and natural gas consumption to be at the top of the list. Stay tuned for further updates. 
#3 SAHBA Partner Stands Ready to Help YOU Meet Employment Needs
My name is Danny Howe and I work with Pima County One Stop in the Employment and Training department. My role is to focus on the Trades here in Pima County and to make sure that there is enough trained talent for future positions and to make sure that industry is heard throughout the community.

Here at the One Stop we focus on workforce development, skills training and talent placement. We are not a “temp -to -hire ” outfit and we are not a staffing agency. Our goal and main focus is to assist employers in Pima County to make sure that they have a solid and capable workforce.

I have met a lot individuals and companies over the years and would like to wrap back around and touch base with everyone. If I have not met you, I would love the opportunity to schedule a time to come meet with you and to learn what your company does and to share the many ways that we may work together. If I have met you, I would also like to schedule a time to come and touch base with you as well. I would love to hear all about what is new with you for the upcoming year. As a reminder all of our services are free and of no charge to either employees or to the employers.
