November 19, 2019

Let's do the one thing that matters most this December-celebrate the birth of Christ! O ur Generations Ministry has put together a fantastic Celebrate Advent resource for Carmel families.

Advent means "coming" and is a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of Jesus' birth.  Pick up your family's Celebrate Advent  resource in the Gathering Space while supplies last, and begin preparing for December 1!

Praise...
Praise for our  Mosaic Ministry's family picnic! The Sunday, Nov 3 gathering was a beautiful celebration of Carmel families who have chosen to have "mosaic" families through fostering or adoption.
Praise for the volunteers who helped our staff prepare for  Christmas!  One team assembled 1,000 Celebrate Advent bags (pick up yours this Sunday in the Gathering Space) while another decked the halls of the church!
Pray...
Pray for Carmel Students as they go on "The Pause" this weekend, a retreat where they will focus on Christ as the anchor for their souls (Hebrews 6:19) and reflect on who they are tethered to in the midst of "stormy seas."
