NORTHWEST
February 2020
Hello parents!

We are quickly moving through the spring semester as we enter a month that focuses on celebrating history, the present, and the future. On the Northwest campus there is much to celebrate! Our students have completed taking their MAP Mid-Year assessments. The data from this assessment will be used to measure student progress in achieving certain academic goals while allowing opportunities for staff to adjust instruction and ensure mastery of student content. This aligns with my personal mission for the Northwest campus this semester: Show the Growth! We want students to feel empowered and excited about their learning with The Rhodes School. By showing the growth, we strengthen our transparency and communication with each of you, as well as building our students to be the best and brightest. This is indeed exciting work that we will need your help in achieving. One integral way you can assist is by joining our Parent Teacher Crew (PTC). The PTC supports our campus by assisting with resources, planning of events, and active presence for on-campus activities. For more information on how to join, please call our front office.

Thank you to those parents who were able to attend “Meet the Principal”! I enjoyed speaking with each of you and updating you on the direction of the Northwest campus. I also enjoyed hearing the “why” behind your child attending RSPA Northwest. You can agree with me that our campus is truly a special place with passionate educators who make your child a priority. I look forward to seeing many of you in the coming days. Go Northwest CREW!

Sincerely,
Adavion Wayne, M. Ed
