Over $250,000 Raised for Gastric Cancer Research and Patient Programs
More than $250,000 was raised at the Gastric Cancer Foundation's recent 10th Anniversary Celebration, A Cause for Hope. Held on November 16 at the Peninsula Golf & Country Club in San Mateo, California, nearly 200 guests celebrated the foundation's first decade of progress, honored champions of the cause, and raised funds to support the exciting work that lies ahead.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this meaningful and beautiful evening. Together, we will defeat gastric cancer.
Our 2019 Champions of Hope
Four very deserving people received the foundation's inaugural "Champion of Hope" awards at the celebration. Ron and Diane Weintraub, Hans Rueffert and Dr. Mohamad El-Zaatari, PhD. were all honored as individuals who have gone above and beyond to support this important cause. From passionate advocacy to personal giving to incredible advancements in research, these people continue to make extraordinary contributions to progress. Their stories are captured in a special video created for the event.
