SEASON TO SHARE
Gifts Matched at 50% by Denver Active 20-30 Children's Foundation

The Denver Post Season To Share presented by Denver Active 20-30 Children's Foundation holiday fundraising campaign runs through December 31, 2019. Donations up to $800,000 will be matched at .50 per dollar by Denver Active 20-30, making an even greater impact for those in need.

Season To Share will support more than 50 nonprofit organizations in metro Denver, making a difference for low-income children, individuals and families. These qualified nonprofits provide life-changing programs that  prepare  children and youth for success in the classroom and in life,  protect  children and families in need with medical care,  house  families and individuals in need of a permanent home, and   nourish those who experience hunger.

With the holiday season upon us, please consider making a gift today. Together we can make a difference for those less fortunate.

We are so grateful for the continued support and generosity of the  Trans-Siberian Orchestra  to the Denver community. On Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019,  The Denver Post  Season To Share presented by Denver Active 20-30 Children's Foundation, received a check in the amount of $17,975 from TSO prior to their amazing evening performance.

This gift, combined with others up to $800,000 received throughout the campaign, will be matched by Denver Active 20-30 at 50%. We thank the Trans-Siberian Orchestra for choosing to help our local 50+ nonprofit organizations focusing on children and youth, health and wellness, homelessness, and hunger.

THE DENVER POST ACTS
(Assisting the Community Through Service)
Employee Volunteers Give Back

On Saturday, November 2, 2019, The  Denver Post ACTS (Assisting the Community Through Service) employee volunteers with their family and friends, spent their morning at  Food Bank of the Rockies reclaiming, sorting, and packaging donations. Our group helped pack up 12 pallets with 480 boxes, weighing 12,880 lbs (which is over 6 tons!) and if everything would've been food items, that would equal 11,000 meals for those in the metro Denver area. We are so grateful to the ACTS volunteers who gave their time to help others in the community.

A special thank you to the following volunteers: Christine and Brian Moser, Mike and Noah Rafferty, Craig Kudra, Amanda Muse, Emily LeClair, Nicole Odekirk, Dawn Morgan, Dani Day, Gigi Korosec, Courtney Scholten, Justin Scriven, Nancy Hole, Hayley Johnson, Jacob Meyer, Meg and Justin Wingerter, Noelle Phillips, Elizabeth Hernandez, Tobi King, Vicki Magoya, Carol Cline, Stacy Schafer, and John Vanderberg.
