Equipped to Learn Backpack Drive
NOW EXTENDED to July 31!
Temple Emanu-El is once again partnering with Jewish Family Services to collect backpacks and school supplies for preschool through adult learners. This year we are expanding the drive to include gift cards for back to school shoes from Target and DSW.   It makes a world of difference for a needy student to have back-to-school supplies, new shoes and be ready to learn. With your help, these students will be off a great start to a successful 2018-19  school year!

There are several ways you and your family can help someone be equipped to learn and succeed.  Look for the Back-to-School boards and bins in the synagogue lobby.  You can turn in your donation at the synagogue Back-to-school bin or at JFS SV at the Levy Family Campus.  This year you can donate a full backpack for a needy student based from a requested supply list, you can purchase Target or DSW gift cards, or buy from JFS' Target online registry.  Check JFS web site for details.  Any questions or if you would like to volunteer with your children (over 10 years old please), contact [email protected].
