Dakota Data Shred makes it easy for businesses in 4 states (South Dakota, and parts of Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska) to securely destroy paper/printed media, micro fiche/film, computer hard drives & non-paper media.  

In April, Dakota Data Shred helped raise $13,615 for Crime Stoppers.  In all, 66,176 pounds of documents were destroyed and recycled.  Here are some additional ways Novak actively supports community organizations and events.

Novak Sanitary Service is proud to be a partner of the new Denny Sanford PREMIER Center, and its exclusive service provider. 

We provide waste receptacles for garbage and recyclables throughout the center, and our commitment to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center means a commitment to the greater Sioux Falls area.

While Novak Sanitary Service helps sponsor events both big and small, we also provide free recycling at the events.  By diverting recyclables from the landfill, we're doing our part to keep our local communities clean and sustainable.

Thanks to our residential and business customers, in 2014, Dakota Data Shred recovered 7.5 million pounds of shredded documents to be recycled into tissue paper and paper towels.

According to the EPA, for every ton of paper recycled it can save the energy equivalent of 165 gallons of gasoline.

7.5 million pounds = Saving of 562,485 gallons of gasoline.

Since 1994, Novak has taken the lead in diverting construction waste from our local Sioux Falls Regional Sanitary Landfill.
