Bedtime routines

We have almost finished an entire month of school!  Have you noticed an improvement in your child's initial fatigue associated with starting school?  If not, consider establishing or improving bedtime routines.  Children thrive on consistent routines that are predictable and beneficial.  Try some of these ideas and let us know if you see improvement!  Have any suggestions for what works for your family?  Feel free to send a note to the office.

Early Learning Assessments

Our school follows the Ohio Department of Education and Step up to Quality recommendations of conducting Early Learning Assessments (ELA).  These assessments are conducted throughout the entire year and help us document the development of each child.  The ELA is not a test and your child will not "pass' or "fail".  Instead, the ELA  measures your child's knowledge, skills and behaviors in seven areas: Social Foundations, Language and Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Well-being and Motor Development, and Fine Arts.  The faculty will be gathering information in these areas and sharing that information with you at conferences and through the report card.
Please contact the office if you are interested in setting up a Procare account.  This account will allow you to view and print invoices, make payments, update contact information and print tax documents.

This system works with Tuition Express for automatically deducted payments for those who wish to use this service.
