As you likely already know, the
GRAMMY® nominations have been announced. I'm happy to report that Dallas native, Jazzmeia Horn was nominated for the second time for her latest album,
Love & Liberation in the Best Jazz Vocal category. The nominees in Mike's category, Best Jazz Instrumental Album, are Joey DeFrancesco, Branford Marsalis Quartet, Brad Mehldau, and Joshua Redman Quartet.
We had the most wonderful evening at the Dallas Jazz Piano Society event earlier this month and do hope you don't miss

Latin-influenced Contemporary Jazz at its finest blending Piano, Trombone, Vocal, Vibraphone, Steel Pan, Bass and Drums to bring to life beautiful melodies and engaging/funky rhythms.
Dr. Mike Bogle not only produced this album, but plays Piano, Trombone, Synthesizers. and vocals, too. It also features Buddy Mohmed on bass, Harrell Bosarge on drums, Dana Sudborough on vibes, and Andy Barrus on steel pan/percussion.
