The same applies to waterblasting.

 

Humanity has created rockets that land vertically, A.I. droids that have been granted citizenship, and robot-dogs that will soon hit the consumer market. 

But we are still cleaning tube bundles by hand?

 

Historically within the consumer market, the resistance to change or to adapt has been met with the elimination, or "extinction", of primitive and archaic methods. 

After all, it is no longer "Survival Of The Fittest", but

"Survival Of the Smartest".
