SGT elections to be held during open house

It is time once again to elect team members for the Carrollton City School Governance teams. Parents will vote on the candidates at each school's  open house.

CES, CMS and CHS will elect two parent representatives while CJHS will fill one open position.

Since Carrollton City Schools is a state Charter District, each school is supported by a volunteer governing council, the SGT, which operates with the intent and purpose of maximizing school-level decision-making. If you are interested in the School Governance Team, please reach out to the respective schools for more information. LEARN MORE ABOUT SGTs.
TRAFFIC REMINDER
Traffic congestion to make annual debut

No matter how hard we try to avoid it, traffic is predictably worse the first few days of school. To help you navigate as efficiently as possible, note the yellow arrows above that indicate traffic flow during arrival and dismissal times at all schools on our campus. No major changes have been made for traffic control this school year, but if you have a child transitioning to a new school, you may want to read this informational sheet featuring specific traffic details and alternatives to avoid congestion. Just remember, everything will level out to a normal flow in a few short days, so be patient.
