The first party of the Wrigleyville Summer Series is kicking off next Wednesday, August 1st from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at Moe's Cantina Wrigleyville's new rooftop! Spend 3 full hours enjoying drinks, food, music, and more.

The Lakeview East area is bustling with new development. This week, 3120-3122 N. Broadway was demolished to begin construction with four floors of rental units and 5,000+ sq. feet of commercial space on first floor. This is a TOD (Transit Oriented Development) and parking is not provided. 2941 N. Clark has begun construction for a 12 unit mixed use building with 12 parking spaces.

The first floor of the 2941 North Clark Street building will house a 2,600-square-foot commercial space at ground level. The building's second, third and fourth floors will house 12 residential units. Amenities will include a bike room, elevator and dog-wash station and there will be 12 residential parking spaces behind the building, accessible from a back alley.
3300 N. Clark Street
3300 N. Clark completed its demolition to make way for a TOD offering 140 units, 20 parking spaces and 10K retail space on the first floor.

Burglary
Prevention Forum
The Chicago Police Department will be holding an Anti Theft and Burglary Prevention Forum entitled "Keeping It Real" on
Thursday, July 26th. The forum is at the
Olson Auditorium at Advocate Hospital, 836 W. Wellington from 7pm-8:30pm. The panel will include convicted burglars. The community is strongly encouraged to attend!

National Night Out Block Party
The 19th Police District will be having their National Night Out Block Party on
Tuesday, August 7th 2018, from 5:30pm-7:30pm
. The theme is Midnight Circus! There will be free hot dogs, drinks, games, and more.

19th District Community Alternative Policing Strategies (CAPS)
The 44th Ward is served by the 19th District (bounded by Lawrence, Lake Shore Drive, Fullerton, and the Chicago River). Each police district is divided in beats, and each beat has a team of beat officers assigned to it. Police representatives from these teams and local community leaders conduct the CAPS meetings. Anti-Violence March
An Anti-Violence March is scheduled for Thursday, August 2nd at 4 p.m. The Chamber has reached out to the 19th District Police Department for detailed information concerning street closures and police patrols. The march will shut down part of Lake Shore Drive, go west on Belmont, and North on Clark to Wrigley Field. Once more information is made available, we will email our members to plan accordingly.
