Hello Parents and Caregivers!

HAPPY NATIONAL VOLUNTEERS WEEK! On behalf of the CSPC at St Cyril, we THANK YOU! To all our parents that give their time, patience and dedication to our school. We could not do anything without you! The end outcome of success for all our children is what drives us and it is because of this tireless dedication that our children prosper! THANK YOU!

We are happy to share with you three upcoming events that OAPCE Toronto is a part of and hope that you are able to attend one of these valuable events!

Firstly, on  MONDAY APRIL 30 you are welcome to join  for the Annual PRO Grant Workshop at  7:00 pm.  Ministry of Education Parent Engagement Officers will be present to help faciliate the workshop. Please see flyer attached below for more information.

Throughout the month of April you are all welcome to attend one of the seminars that will take place for the "Raising Youth Together"  Parenting Workshops. These workshops give you practical information, useful tips and proven strategies for effective parenting.  Register here:  Raising Youth togeter Registration


Join us for a Parent Summit "Helping Parents Be In The Know" on  Saturday May 5 at the CEC! This is FREE event for all with Social Media Guru Keynote Speaker Paul Davis and several workshops. There will be a Resource Fair and there is child care provided for children 4-12! See the flyer enclosed. See Flyer below for further information.

OAPCE Toronto is proud to offer you many Parent Engagement Opportunities, do not let them go by!






ME TO WE Water Walk is happenning on April 27th.

We will need parents to supervise he route and everyone to consider doing what we do to raise funds.  $25 can provide one person with access to clean water for life.

Finance Update
Thanks to your generosity, CSPC was able to provide support for the school Swim Team and the scientists in school program.

Other Updates

Edge Imaging

At the last parent council meeting we heard a presentation by Edge Imaging (edgeimaging.ca), as a potential alternative company to take the school photos next year.  We would love to hear your feedback about our current provider (Green Apple Studio) to help us  determine if we should switch to Edge Imaging for next year.  You can send your comments by clicking here:  CSPC

Annual Sacrament Celebration!

We will be having the annual sacrament celebration from grade 2s and grade 7s that have received the sacrament of either communion or confirmation.  This annual pot luck lunch will be held on Tuesday May 15th.
