A Moving Child is a Learning Child

Parenting for LYFE is an open, drop-in group that meets monthly to discuss a variety of parenting topics. Join the group at 11:30am in the Social Hall. Grab your kids, eat brunch as a group, and then our child care helpers will take kids to their activity while parents have a chance to discuss the parenting topic of the day.

Kids' Music during Parenting for LYFE!
We are thrilled to announce that newly-retired music teacher, Patricia Rice, will be engaging our youngsters in an early childhood music program that will take place concurrently with Parenting for LYFE! Best for ages 3-6 years. Childcare is provided for kids of all other ages, too!
Kids' Christmas Choirs

Kids' Christmas Choirs begin rehearsing November 24 at 9am in the Border Chapel. Singers ages 3 years - kindergarten will sing with the Cherub Choir, and 1st through 3rd graders will sing with the Carol Choir. Both choirs rehearse on Sunday mornings throughout Advent, and sing in the 4pm Christmas Eve worship service. All voices are welcome!
The Angel Tree
November 24-December 8

This holiday season, Hennepin members are invited to take an angel ornament off the Angel Tree in the East Entry, and purchase 3 gifts each (something warm, something educational and something fun!) for refugee children new to the United States. Please return your ornament and unwrapped gifts by December 8. Thank you!

Dinner Theater
December 21 • 1-6pm

Parents, drop off your children at the church, and go do that last-minute Christmas shopping or something nice for yourself. Come back at 5:00 and have dinner while watching your child's performance. $20 per child. For ages 3 years through 4th grade. Teen helpers welcome! 
Holiday Spruce the Spire

On Sunday, November 24, all are welcome to Deck the Hennepin Halls! Feel free to grab brunch as a family and then stop at the table in Carlson Hall. There will be a variety of projects to choose from, including putting up and decorating trees, hanging lights, and stuffing Christmas take home bags. Let's have some fun making the church festive for Christmas!
