Test Your Marksmanship At Shoot-O-Ree
Sharpen your eagle eye and set your sights on fun during the Shoot-O-Ree August 18! Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturers can participate in age-appropriate activities that test their marksmanship.

We are in need of older Boy Scouts and Venturers to staff Cub Scout program areas. Volunteers can earn service hours... and free admission to the event! Contact suzie.redington@scouting.org .
Popcorn Sale

Short Term Lottery
Enter your unit in the short-term lottery by Friday, July 27. The lottery system is intended to provide a fair and orderly process for unit reservations for cabins, treehouses and horses between Oct. 1, 2018-Sept. 30, 2019.
STEMfest
Join us for the second annual STEMfest hosted by Pole Position Raceway Aug. 11 where you'll enjoy free STEM activities from our partners! IndyCar Is Back!
A full day of racing and STEM is planned at Gateway Motorsports Park on August 25. Scouts, friends, and families can participate in welding and other STEM activities before taking in the IndyCar race. Youth 15 and under are free. Discounted tickets can be purchased by using promo code: SCOUT.

Plus, Scouts can received a patch if they register here for a free tour.
Cub Scout Fishing Adult Leader Training
During this training, participants will learn how to offer age-appropriate fishing programs for their Cub Scouts, where to borrow equipment, and how to get free supplies to host a fishing event. Training takes place at Camp Vandeventer on Aug. 18. Register here .
Bags 4 My Cause
Our council has been selected for the Schnucks Bags 4 My Cause program. For every reusable Cause bag purchased at the Schnucks at 1000 Columbia Centre Dr., Columbia, IL during the month of July, $1 is donated to our cause in order to help us fulfill our mission!
Nova Wild! Day
On September 8, Cub Scouts have a new opportunity to earn their Nova Wild! Award at the World Bird Sanctuary. All about wildlife, nature, and conservation, Scouts will rotate through fun activities and interact with birds and reptiles. Registration is only $10 per Scout. 
Fall Fun Rally
Celebrate the adventure during the 45th annual Fall Fun Rally, Sept. 21-23. Participants (Venturers, Explorers, Sea Scouts, older Scouts) can choose from more than 100 activities, trainings, demonstrations and competitions during this weekend of non-stop fun. Early bird pricing is in effect until Aug. 19.

Merit Badge Makeup Day
