Living and Leaving a Legacy

This month,  Leave a Legacy Greater Vancouver featured a Sources donor story.  Henry Block was a philanthropic visionary. While he passed away a couple years ago, his  charitable standards lived on, manifested in his family's commitment to continue his legacy of giving back to community.

This includes supporting the Hospital to Home Program, The Powder Milk Project and The Rotary Save-On-Foods Gift Card Program. Read his story here.

Putting Food on Families' Tables

Welcome back to another edition of
Resources ! As we transition to the winter season, we witness an increase in people turning to our services for help -- particularly  our Food Banks.

While the season for enhancing social wellness for our community never changes, we especially invite you to support our work in community at this time of year.

In this newsletter, we outline events and opportunities for you to get involved and help  make the holidays a little more warm and merry for our neighbours in need.
Our Food Banks Have Wishlists Too!

As the holiday season approaches, many of us begin thinking about feasting with family and friends, but there are others who are stressing about how they will feed their loved ones.

People living on a low income do not have access to enough nutritious food to meet their health needs. Our mandate is to provide recipients with enough fresh and nutritious food for 2 days per week; and at Christmastime, we try to do a little bit more.

Please click here t o see Wishlists specific to our Food Banks in Langley and White Rock/South Surrey .
