Once again the Rotary Club of San Ramon will partner with the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation to bring you an Online Auction for Education benefitting the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. We hope you will consider sponsoring this auction reaching more than 50,000 parents, plus past supporters in the San Ramon Valley. The Auction runs from November 1st through 9.

Halloween Parade
Wednesday, Oct. 31st
 
Halloween Parade Starts Time:
8:45 am


Parade Route:
Students will begin by the PE gate next to the MPR, walk down the fire lane toward the blacktop, do 2 big loops around the blacktop and back down the fire lane, then head back to class.  Upper grade classes will walk with their primary grade buddy class.
 

Minimum School Schedule

Kindergartners dismissed at 10:30 am

Grades 1-5 dismissed at 11:50 am 


Halloween Safety Tips
Please remember the following safety tips as  you go out trick or treating:
  • Put reflective tape or have kids carry glow sticks or flashlights to help them see and be seen by drivers. 
  • When crossing the street...teach children to make eye contact with drivers before crossing in front of them.
  • Choose face paint and makeup whenever possible instead of masks, which can obstruct a child's vision.
  • Make sure there is an adult present at all times and that the kids do not run ahead or go out into the street without the adult's supervision.
  • Do not allow the children to eat the candy until they get home and you have had a chance to inspect it.
  • Throw out any unwrapped or opened candy.

Box Top$ Winners
Mrs. Banis'
3rd Grade Class
brought in the most BoxTop$ and won  donuts for the class.

2nd Place winner was Mrs. Peterson's 3rd Grade Class
3rd Place winner was  Mrs. Harper's 1st Grade Class

The school collected more than 2,600 Box Top$ which will help raise more than $260 for our school.  Keep collecting BoxTop$ so we can meet our yearly goal of $1,000.
 

Support Bollinger Canyon Ed Fund by shopping at
 Corporate Match Deadline, Oct. 30

Many companies require employees to get their corporate matches in within 90 days of the donation.  

This means if you made a donation in August, your deadline to submit a corporate match is this Month!
