19TH ANNUAL ORANGE COUNTY ARTS AWARDS HELD
The 19th Annual Orange County Arts Awards were held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in the Samueli Theater at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. See photos from the event and read about the honorees here.
OCMA OPENS TEMPORARY LOCATION
Orange County Museum of Art has officially taken up residence in South Coast Plaza Village in Santa Ana and is open for business as OCMAEXPAND-SANTA ANA. This will be their location until the planned 2021 opening of their new museum facility on the Segerstrom Center for the Arts campus. OCMAEXPAND-SANTA ANA, is an opportunity for the museum to showcase new talent from California and the Pacific Rim. More info here.

KATHY KRAMER JOINS ARTSOC BOARD OF DIRECTORS
At its meeting on October 17, the Arts Orange County Board of Directors elected Kathy Kramer to the Board. Kramer is the Chief Executive Officer of OC Fair & Event Center (OCFEC) in Costa Mesa.  
OCFEC produces the annual OC Fair each summer that attracted more than 1.47 million guests in 2018. In addition, the 150-acre facility plays host to more than 150 event days annually and is home to Centennial Farm, Heroes Hall and the Agricultural Workers Memorial, Table of Dignity. OCFEC is also host to Arts Orange County's VOICES: Veterans Storytelling Project and Dia del Nino festival.  More here.
