In recent months, the Crisis Center's Corbett Trauma Center had an influx of new clients wanting to meet with counselors for therapy. This created some challenges for the three existing facilities where the Crisis Center provides trauma counseling.

Crisis Center staff collaborated with the board of directors to identify South Tampa as an ideal spot to open a fourth counseling location. A unique building that creates a warm and comfortable environment for clients was identified.

We're currently putting the final touches on our newest counseling location, CC's House. Not only are we now able to take on additional client appointments, we've expanded our trauma counseling services to another corner of Hillsborough County with this South Tampa location. Anyone calling for a counseling appointment will be able to meet with a therapist that week to begin healing from their trauma.
