Town releases official election results 
The Town Clerk has released the official results of the Municipal Election held on Monday, October 22. 

Many familiar faces will return to Town Council for another four-year term starting December 1 and we look forward to welcoming four new members as well. You can find the complete list of official results on the Oakville Election website

The inauguration reception for Oakville's newly elected Town Council will take place on December 3, 2018 at Town Hall.

Upcoming events and other information
Two-way street conversion  

As part of the Downtown Plan, we are converting all existing one-way streets in downtown Oakville to two-way streets. While this work is underway t he streets will be open to one-lane traffic and on-street parking will be temporarily removed. Any changes to downtown transit routes will be available on oakvilletransit.ca
This project is expected to be complete by mid-November.
Help redesign Towne Square 

Join us for  a public meeting on November 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall where the town's design consultants will present two new design concepts for Towne Square - a hybrid option that incorporates features from the four concepts presented in the summer and a facelift option that is an enhanced version of the existing design. You can also view the concepts online and submit comments until November 16.

For a limited time you can find out what Trafalgar Park Community Centre offers  - for free! Join us for Community Play Nights  on Saturdays, between October 20 and December 15, from 6 to 9 p.m. for access to recreational skates, family fitness classes, the walking track,  the gymnasium and sports equipment. Bring the whole family and check it out!
