Our eMagazine Collection is Now on Overdrive/Libby!
Our eMagazine collection has recently moved from the RBDigital app to the Libby/Overdrive app! Patrons now have access to over 3,200 magazines, including popular titles, such as Men’s Health, Country Living, Harper’s Bazaar, and Field & Stream! Magazines can be accessed, anytime, anywhere, for free, with never any holds or wait times!
 
Did You Know?
The Library has Chromebook and hotspot bundles available for checkout, and you can now send prints from your mobile devices, laptops, or home computers to the Library for pick up using Princh!

Schoolwork Piling Up? Tutor.com Can Help!
Students and adults with an Ulster County Library card now have access to Tutor.com, which provides on demand, one-on-one academic tutoring and resume help. Try it before your child’s next exam or quiz!  Subjects include Geometry, Reading Comprehension, Physics, Earth Science, AP Test Prep. Trigonometry, and more!

Winter Bingo for Adults!

Let’s get reading, Marlboro! Looking for something to do this winter? Take our Winter Reading Bingo Challenge!

Pick up a Bingo card at the Library or download one here, and complete the list of challenges. Completed Bingo sheets returned to the Library by March 31, will be entered in a raffle to win a gift certificate to a local business!
Completed Bingo cards can be dropped off at the Library, or send a photo to staff@marlborolibrary.org.

Mini Weaving

Registration by the deadline is required to participate, as kits are limited. Spaces fill up quickly!
Have you ever thought about trying a weaving project, but weren’t quite prepared to commit to buying a loom? 

Sign up for this kit to learn how to make a mini weaving on a cardboard loom! Sign up before the deadline on March 4, and pick up your kit starting Friday, March 5 (click here for our curbside pickup and in-Library hours).
County Resources for
Substance Use & Mental Health
Online, Tuesday, March 9, 7:00 p.m.
Registration required.
The effects of COVID-19 have been challenging for many individuals and families. According to the CDC, 40% of adults have struggled with mental health or substance use during the pandemic.

During this virtual presentation, a representative from the Mental Health Association in Ulster County will provide an overview of the resources available to Ulster County residents to help with substance use and mental health.

Local History Trivia Nights

Are you a local history buff or want to learn more about your town? Do you like testing your knowledge against a set of interesting and sometimes obscure questions? From the comfort of your own home, make new friends or reunite with old ones, and test your knowledge of Marlborough in this relaxed environment. Participate individually or make it a fun evening for your whole household.

Cut the Cord:
Say Goodbye to Your Cable Company

Breaking up is hard to do, but in this Cut the Cord virtual workshop, co-presented by the Desmond-Fish Public Library and the Marlboro Free Library, you will learn how saying goodbye to your cable company can save time, money, and your sanity!
