Meet and hear from our State, County and City officials.
NWNA's president, John Jacobs, will make a brief opening.
Each speaker will have 20 minutes for audience questions.
6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dane Eagle, our representative for District 77 in the Florida House, will be discussing what is happening in Tallahassee and support for Cape Coral and southwest Florida.
7:20 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. Supervisor of Elections, Tommy Doyle, will take us through the November 2018 ballot that includes the following:
- 12 ballot initiative questions for the State Constitution.
- A ballot initiative question for the Lee County School Board to charge a 1/2 cent Lee County sales tax for 10 years.
- A ballot initiative question for the City of Cape Coral to approve a 15 year millage charge for a 60 million dollar Parks bond.
8:10 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Kerry Runyon, Director of Cape Coral Parks Department will be sharing the vision for the Parks Master Plan along with taking you through the referendum on the November Ballot for a $60 Million Dollar Bond.
NWNA's President, John Jacobs, will provide closing remarks.
