The 3rd Ave Bridge is still in early stages of construction. Crews are currently working on the water main in the intersection of 3rd Ave and 1st Street SW. They anticipate opening the intersection back up by the end of this week. They will then continue to work on sidewalk ramps at the corner of the intersection.
Starting mid-September, bridge work will begin. This will include reducing the bridge down to one lane of traffic. We will continue to send updates as the bridge work and closures begin to take effect.
